I created these fun waves by using a flat iron.
On each strand of hair just turn the flat iron to curl hair up, then slide down the stand and turn the flat iron to curl the hair downward.
repeat those steps until your whole hair strand is wavy!!!

Try a new braid!
I got this idea from how an actress in "the office" wears he hair sometimes, it's cute and easy to do.
The trick is to only gather hair from the front of the braid and not the back and just work your way around

Haircut and Retouch
Retouch and Haircut
Aubrey and I had a fun time coloring and cutting her hair!
I used Kenra hair color
2oz 6C
1oz 8N
3oz Developer
I only retouched her roots and 10 minutes before her processing time was up I pulled her hair color through to the ends.
I sure hope she loves it!

Hi-lights!!!
today my client was interested in getting some hi-lights.
for her hair I used Kenra bleach and developer
Her goal was to get her hair as light as possible with the hi-light technique so it would look much more natural as it grows out.
sooo...
I did a full head hi-light for her with a high density of slice style highlights because she wanted her hair very light.

Beautiful hi and low light
She asked me for highlights and lowlight so with her hair color in mind we didn't go too bright with the highlights but we weren't fearing any colors for the lowlights
I did two lowlight formulas:
Using Kenra Haircolor
Dark brown:
1oz 5N
1oz 20 vol
Dark violet brown:
1oz 5RV
.5oz 5N
1.5oz 20 vol
Highlights:
1oz Kenra lightener
2oz 20 vol
------------------------------
Well it took me about an hour to get all of the foils in for this client. I want to improve that most definitely.... So I'm going to try to keep everyone posted on how my time is progressing. I plan on working with my manakin to help myself improve.
After we got all the foils in I was sure to wait a good 25 min to be sure all of the color processed nicely and checked out my highlights and once it looked good we began to wash her out.
I noticed her highlights were quite brassy so I added a toner
Kenra Haircolor
Demi-permanent:
1oz 8NA
2oz Activator
